Personal signatures are used on a daily basis for the purposes of identification: when paying at a hotel, telecom POS, or elsewhere, or when concluding an insurance contract or carrying out other administrative procedures. As digitalisation is becoming ever more prevalent, electronic handwritten signatures are becoming increasingly necessary. However, in order to allow all such procedures to be carried out securely and in line with legal requirements, certain requirements must be fulfilled with regard to electronic handwritten signatures.
